 Agree or disagree: Japan has become too westernized?

Points:

・Globalization
・Lifestyle
・Borrowing ideas

It seems that Japan has become too westernized, because eating bread and global business has become common.

However, I strongly think that it is part of the globalization in terms of globalization and lifestyle.

First of all, in Meiji era, Japan has started trading with foreign countries.

Since then, Japanese companies have been running their business abroad, and most of us have incorporated European culture.

Nevertheless, Japanese unique culture and habits are still existing.

Next is as for lifestyle.

Although, eating bread like European are general in Japan, most Japanese also like Japanese food culture such as “sashimi”, “miso soup”, “oden in winter” and so on.

We feel like eating some Japanese dishes depending on the seasons.

According to the reasons I stated above, Japan will grow globally while keeping and cherishing our unusual traditions certainly.

日本は西洋化し過ぎていますか？

パン食やグローバルビジネスが普通になっているので、日本は西洋化し過ぎているように思われる。

しかし私は、国際化やライフスタイルの観点から、それは国際化の一部であると考える。

まず、日本は明治時代に外国と貿易を始めた。

以来、日本企業は海外でビジネスを行うようになり、多くの日本人は西洋文化を取り入れた。

けれども、日本独特の文化や習慣は、まだ存在している。

次にライフスタイルについて。

日本でもヨーロッパのようなパン食が一般的になっているけれども、多くの日本人もまた、

刺身やみそ汁、冬のおでんなど、日本食文化が好きだ。

私たちは季節ごとに、ある特定の日本食が恋しくなる。

上述の理由により、日本は日本独特の伝統を守り大事にしながら、国際的に発展していくだろう。
